Desa Wisata Ekang
Indonesia has many island destinations with boast limitless charm. In Batam itself, there is 2430 islands with 1.8m population and Bintan is the biggest island in KEPRI province.
FOOD
Indonesia always known with their good foodies. Not to mention Batam, with their seafood. My trip to Batam this time, I got to experience good seafood at Wey Wey Restaurant, Harbor Bay District. One of their popular seafood is 'Gonggong'. Gonggong is a type of shellfish that can found in KEPRI. It is my first time having tried Gonggong and surprisingly it taste so good. I would definitely recommend you to try Gonggong. Other than that, they have wide variety of seafood such as crsb, fish, prawn and many more delicious foodies to offer.

ACCOMODATION
Not to worry, Batam has more than 200 hotels according to your budget. I would suggest Nite & Day Hotel in Jodoh Square as its located at a town of Batam, nearby to terminal ferry, airport and shopping paradise such Nagoya Hill Shopping Center, DC Mall and many more. As a 3 star hotel, Nite & Day would definitely a choice in terms of price rate with 52 different type of rooms for your choice.
BINTAN ISLAND
From Batam City it took 45minutes to Telaga Pungur Ferry Terminal which any trip to Bintan Island depart. Another one hour ferry trip to Pelabuhan Tanjung Uban, with Roro ferry worth the travel. For a small group, you can also travel with speed boat which will only take 15 minutes. I got to experience the desert hills, an attraction in Bintan with amazing view of blue lake. Gurun Pasir Bintan resembles an arabian desert with a nice white sandy hills and pathways, definitely a good spot for a photographer.

About 40 minutes from there, is Pemancingan Poyotomo, another attraction place in Bintan viewing Gunung Bintan. Bintan trip definitely not complete without visiting a beach. Madu Tiga Beach located 50 minutes from Pemancingan Poyotomo, is actually a fisherman village and one of the longest beach in Bintan Island. Make sure to dip your toes in the white sand and glass water beach. Completed the trip with Ekang Tourism Village which located one hour from Madu Tiga with an attraction of horse riding, mountain bike trail and many more.

Head of Bahari Tourism & Association, Surya Wijaya said, in 2019, they would like to promote Bintan not only to the foreigner tourist but also aiming for Indonesian to come and visit Bintan through an exhibition throughout big city in Indonesia such as Bandung, Jogjakarta, Makassar and Batam. Ended Bintan Trip, it took 30 minutes back to Pelabuhan Batu Uban depart back to Telaga Pungur. Edi Sutrisno, Batam Tourism Board said, as an effort in promoting attraction places in Batam, such as Bintan, Batam Tourism deliberately invite media from neighbouring countries, Malaysia and Singapore as an ambassador of KEPRI Tourism. a conclusion Bintan Island has many attraction to offer, from the amazing sightseeing to the beautiful beach which worth your trip.
